was my dream an astral experience??

i am not sure whether this was an astral experience,

In my dreams i used to have nighmares about burglars in my flat. that night i also dreamt that two female thieves were in the kitchen. as i looked around, i noticed that the burglar alarm was on, which meant they could not have come in through the door...this was when i realised that i must be dreaming. nothing actually changed around me in the room, like i didnt 'wake up', i was still in the same dream, but i was conscious that i was dreaming if that makes any sense. i decided i would jump out of the window just to make sure that it WAS a dream but then i got scared (i was on the 9th floor!). and at the same time moment i felt like going up, and just floating up in the air below the ceiling... the feeling of instability must have woken me up. i shruddered and opened my eyes.

i keep remembering that dream, even now it feels very real. was it lucid dreaming or an OBE???
