So lately I've been having dreams in dreams in dreams.  Like I'll be dreaming and I'll wake up well think I've waken and then i realize I'm still dreaming and it continues a few more times.  Is there anything behind this?

Hi there,

I know exactly what you are talking about. I think it may be when we become conscious before we are totally merged with the physical body during sleep.

Here's why:
Sometimes I would wake up, look at the clock, then get up and all of a sudden I'm laying in bed again with my eyes just opening. The time on the clock is exactly the same.
Other times I would wake up, and the radio (alarm) turns on, a song plays, I look at the clock, stand up, and then all of a sudden I'm back in bed again just waking up. Then the alarm sounds, song comes on, it's exactly the same one and the time is the same too.

Based on the awareness of the immediate future in the external world I would have to say it's definately a concious experience of how things and time manifest from the astral first, through the medium of the ether, and finally into the third dimension.

Hey Ryan,

I definitely agree with what Apakhana has said; I've had similar experiences. I used to have those sorts of nested dreams a lot when I began to take an interest in astral travel, etc.

I also think those sorts of experiences can teach us a lot about ourselves and the higher dimensions (like the astral plane where we also dream).

We can see how real and tangible the world of our dreams can be, since we dream that we're getting up for the day and things seem quite normal. So either the astral plane is very similar to the physical or there are lots of things we ordinarily don't notice... or both.

And at a deeper level we can see that really being awake is a profound concept. The fact that we are convinced we're awake and still dreaming seems to indicate there's more to being awake than just thinking we're awake.

Kind regards,

Mike
