So i was looking around on youtube at diff relaxation exercises and I came across Astral travel w/ Denise Linn and her exercise actually work'd w/ me I mean i pretty much did it w/ a light on and my tv on as well I could feel myself asleep but i was awake i couldn't really see anything though just light but i could feel my eyes moving like i was in rem or something. I think I was still seeing with my physical eyes b/c of the light in my room, how can I prevent this? I start'd to get excited and i knew if i did get to excited it would end so i kept calming myself. Unfortunatelly I had my window up and someone start'd yelling outside and i woke up....I'm going to try again later if anybody is having trouble check out the breathing relaxation techinque vid it was really helpful and the Denise Linn video as well

Hi Ryan,

You can try to relax even more your eyes, neck, facial muscles etc, as those ares can be easily overlooked.
What I often do is to consciously relax all the muscles I can think of as I start from the feet and move to the head. Make sure there is not tension in your body and if there is just relax it again and continue with the practice.

Also, I turn off the lights. :)

Could anyone give me some concentration ideas I tried again today and I always reach the point of the vibrations but i don't know if its me getting excited or losing focus but it fades away.  Sometimes i feel myself going under is this a good thing or bad b/c i naturally wake myself up before it gets too deep?

Getting excited is always bad, if lucid dreams are any indication. Instead, try and focus on the feeling. Observe it, embrace it, and slightly encourage it.

Hi Ryan Jamal,

The difficult part here is to keep concentrated and not go along with vibrations, excitement, ot any other sensations.

Perhaps, a good idea can be to retrospect each astral projection attempt and then analyze causes of failure, and the next time, try to correct it.

Going under with astral body can be also a way to project, if it happens this way, I think, the best thing is just stay focused until the clear feeling of being separated and then gently go into the astral.
That feeling can't be described adequately with words...something to feel personally.

All the best with the practices!
