Hi Everyone,

Planning to go to both UK and Greece this summer...really looking forward to it!
When was a kid, I was kinda raised on Greek mythes and always waited for a good opportunity to visit Greece.

During the last few years have attended the retreats in US and UK, those were truly a magical experiences!
Maybe, the only bad thing for me about all these experiences was that horrible "necessity" to say good-bye to everyone and go back home.

From the practical side of tips to share with, for those who fly from overseas, can only suggest to look for airplane tickets as early as possible (now).
Also, it can be a great idea to communicate with other attendants before retreat.
Sharing a room together, hanging around as a group in unknown country, etc., can make a life a lot easier (that's what we are looking for, yes?) and be a lot of fun.

I'm pretty sure I'll try to make it to this retreat, so hopefully I'll see you there. :)

lucky me Greece is close to where I live.. :)

I'll be there.

Just finished booking my return ticket just now, booked my tickets to London and onwards to Athens a few weeks ago but I was hoping the price for the return ticket would go down - I guess not - figured I might as well wait and see, worst case scenario I get stuck in Athens a little longer, which wouldn't be so bad lol.

Ioannis, any recommendations for hotels in Athens? Last time everybody stayed in the same hotel and we had a really nice time, went out for lunch and dinner together, shared taxis to and from the airport, etc... Would be nice if we could spend the before and after time together this time too.

Has anyone booked a hotel room for themselves already?

Will be glad to meet you.

I will be arranging my transport next week, so not sure if I'm spending some extra time in Athens. It will be nice if we're all in the same hotel, yes. :)

I plan to stay for some extra time in Athens.

Yeah, it would be fantastic if we can all stay in the same hotel!

So far I plan to book something for one night before the retreat but after that...don't know.

Maybe there would be some opportunities to help a centre in Athens, then I'll stay in the city.
Otherwise I have hippy ideas too, like getting a sleeping bag and a bike and to travel around a bit.

Greece has such an amazing history, there is so much to see over there!

It will be great to see you here :-). I will try to arrange for your accomodation for the extra days. I will let you know in the weeks to follow. Sorry for delaying that, but we were pretty busy with the new center in Athens.
