Hi all,

I have quite an interest in physics, as it lets us try to comprehend how the universe works. I do not proclaim to be an expert I just dabble a little bit.

At the moment there is quite a debate going on, in the physics community about the existence of extra dimensions. According to
M-theory there is 11 dimensions and string-thoery claims 10. These theorys are an attempt to unify the forces of nature into one theory.

If anyone is interested in this here is a link to a BBC documentary about these two theorys

 http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=7644290290800638519&q=m+theory&total=1831&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1

and here is a real mind boggler trying to explain the ten dimesions

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-6247232057169135182&q=10+dimensions&total=359&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1

Anyway bearing that in mind I was reading the astral travel and dreams book yesterday and there was a diagram of the dimensions. There was the 3 spatial ones we are familiar with, the 4th being time, the 5th Eternity which is split into 2, the 6th the electronic which is also split into 2, the 7th the spiritual and the absolute and the infra dimensions.

If we treat the astral and mental part of the 5th dimesion as separate dimensions and do the same with the causal and buddhic parts of the 6th, then add the dimensions together we get a total of 10 dimensions.  If we add the infra dimensions to this we get 11 which coincides with M-Theory.

I found this to be extraordinary and for an added twist the diagram is on page 11 of the book:)

So I had two questions about this;

1) Where does this map of the dimensions given in the book come from? Is it a creation of belzebuub or is this centuries old

2)Do you think science is gettin closer to discovering the nature of reality and being able to explain the non physical realms found in the higher dimensions?

I think someone should throw a party for the esoterics the meta physicians and scientists and get them all talking, as they probably would all realise their ideas about reality and our universe ompliment one anothers

Hi answer?

I've also found it neat how modern science postulates a universe of dimension higher than 3 or 4.

Perhaps these higher dimensions thought of by Physicists are the same as the higher dimensions like the astral plane, etc. I think Belzebuub mentions this is the case in his books.

1) The map of the dimensions from what I understand is indeed centuries old - it even extends beyond all of time - this structure of the dimensions is a part of how creation works.

Presumably with enough practice we can even verify the truth to it and explore all the dimensions.

2) While I think modern science may be making progress in understanding more of the physical world, I have doubts that with its current approaches it will ever understand the more spiritual realms.

Scientific explorations these days are focused primarily on the physical observables (how bodies behave under gravity, quantum particles, etc.). And even though some theories predict higher dimensions, in what I've seen, it's mostly a matter of mathematical convenience so that "things work out". Many (although not all) Physicists ignore the idea that these dimensions could be explored and hence while parallel universes, etc. may come up in the equations, ideas like the astral plane are often looked down upon.

This sadly closes the doors to an internal experience of the astral plane and other dimensions. Thus real and genuine knowledge of these dimensions cannot be obtained.

However, I do feel with an experiential science - one where we work to gain our own experience of these higher dimensions instead of just observing particles in a lab, say, then a lot can be learnt about these non-physical realms.

I hope this didn't sound too negative; I do realize there are lots of open-minded scientists out there so I was mostly speaking in general terms. And I definitely agree physical ideas on higher dimensions and metaphysics complement each other very well.

Kind regards,

Mike

Hi there,

Mike has really good answers as always.
Those are really good questions too.

From what I think I understand about physics is that there's alot of talk regarding spatial geometric dimensions, even infinitely small "nano-dimensions."

But, I don't think they are too concerned about the "planes" - the astral, mental, causal, etc... because they can not put their instruments and tests to them. What we can do, is observe in our own "3-D" space-time with such tools. Like with the CERN accelerator in Europe, etc...

1- Belzebuub's book maps the "planes" - the vibratory dimensions. Many other people and systems come up with all sorts of numbers and orders also, 7, 9, 4... but really, they seem infinite to me based on experience

(To me there seems to be four "stages" of creation, call them planes if you want, and the Etheric being a medium to bring formation into emanation).

2- I don't think science can comprehend exactly what they would be looking for as far as spiritually higher dimensions. They aren't found with material technology but with internal spiritual development.

If esoteriscists and scientists got together I think the scientists would be intellectually offended since there is no room for rampant intellectualism in esoteriscism.
The mystics, metphysics, scientists, they all have theories but what good is ideas if you can not experience them?
These kinds of ideas are "dead" in a sense they never leave the mental planes, they can not be given form and emanation. They stay where they are. Useless.

I'd still like to observe that meeting of minds situation though! How about it?!

Thanks for the replies, I would have to agree with you about science staying away from this type of internal science. The two mindsets don't really seem to match. If you can't see it touch it or measure it then it doesn't exist according to science.

I think they will come round eventually and definately think in the future there will be a lot of study into our consciousness and how it works because that is the very essence of life.

I think it is at princeton university they have an experiment where they collect data from random number generators from all over the world and they have notice the results skew massively during big global events like wars or 9/11. They also think that group prayer can effect world events which i find very interesting, here is the link to the study

As for the Cern experiment it does worry me a little bit because stephen hawking is predicting the could be mini black holes that could eat up switzerland. Gonna miss that cheese.  Definately very exciting times we are living in.

Here is another link to a coast to coast show with George Noory and Willaim Henry about Cern you might enjoy it.

lol, "Gonna miss that cheese."

That's interesting about the random number generators and the praying.

As far as physical evidence goes perhaps experiments such as those reveal in a small way how higher dimensions and the consciousness of individuals can influence our world.

There is just so much out there.

Kind regards,

Mike
