Hello Gavin,
There is a free course in Dreams and Out of Body Experiences offered on this site that is a compilation of information and techniques to yield the best results. I would recommend it if your interested in learning how to project.
The course has just begun so if you are interested and cant join post up in the helpdesk forum and someone should be able to help you.
