The course hasn’t even started yet and I already had a strange experience.

I had a few lucid dreams before. This time my body felt very heavy but I knew for sure that my arms were up in the air and that’s not possible when you’re sleeping…. I was flying higher and higher en suddenly I heard sounds and a few voices and they said something (can’t remember). The sounds were not coming through my ears but it seemed as if they were in my head and it sounded very loud. Does anyone know what this is?

Hi AnamCara,

Thanks for sharing with your experience!

Your English in this post looks very clear to me.
For me too, it's not easy sometimes to find the right word in English...)

I think that these voices you've described, could either come from your own subconscious elements; or from different entities which we can meet in the astral plane.
The course in Dreams and OBEs explains these things.

Unfortunately, most of us start from the point where we tend to easily forget the details of our astral experiences.
From all the methods to strengthen remembrance skills, for me, perhaps, the most important tip is to keep writing down all the dreams I can remember, as the first thing in the morning.

All the best with your new experiences!

Hi Vadim,

Thanks for your answer and your tip. I have a dream diary and I'm writing my dreams down for over the last 3 years. I can remember (almost) all of my  dreams (several at one night) so I think there will be lot of dreams for me to write down the coming weeks.

You are very welcome, it's awesome that you've learned already how to remember most of your dreams.
There is so much important information in our dreams that we can either use... or miss.

When I've taken the astral class here, it helped me not only to remember more my dreams, but also to make more sense out of what I could recall and use that knowledge in my daily life.
WIth the practices of self-discovery, looking within, internal investigations, the quality of my dreams started to change too.

It's interesting, how it would work for you...well, you'll see...

Hi AnamCara,

Welcome to Gnosticweb!

From your description it sounds like you were projecting from your body. That's a really good start for the Dreams and OBEs course, hopefully if you're already having experiences like that you'll be able to have some incredible ones by the end of the course!

I've heard similar sounds to the ones you were talking about, but I'm not sure either if they were something coming from inside of me, or if they were from a being in the higher dimensions. It's strange how it almost seems to come from inside your head though!

Hope to see you around the forums, enjoy the course!

Hi David,

The picture is from a painting of “Susan Seddon Boulet” (a very spiritual artist) and is about the Shaman world. In the middle of picture is a woman, beneath her a lion,  to the right a shaman, and on her left a Goddess. There are a lot of symbols on in but the picture is too small to see this. All her work is inspired by native Americans, the spiritual world and dreams.
