My first favorite iiiiiissss ....... pears!!! :D I like the yellow ones more ..... especially the pears from my village. They were so tasty and juicy and when I was little I always walked around the tree trying to reach something and it was like I could eat all of them. Too bad the tree is drying now.

Peaches are one of my favourites too!

Sometimes I wish, I can live in the country where I can walk into the garden and just pick up peaches from the trees...maybe somewhere in Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan.

Yes! Nadya, I agree - Pears!!! Right off the tree!

I enjoyed peaches right off a peach tree we had close to our property. I like pears more I think.

There is something about food right out of the earth that is so much better than chemically treated genetic food in the stores.

I like pears too, yeah.

All this chemically treated genetic food horrifies me...
Usually the effects are so subtle in the short term so many of us keep buying it, but what would happen in the long run?

Some of the American First Nations used to think about "seven generations ahead" in their decisions-making.

It's nice to see this growing trend of natural food, I don't mind to pay more for that.

I've wrote Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan...maybe I would like to go even more south...to the tropics, somewhere where no chemicals are used.

My favorite fruit was the peaches! As a child, I could eat like seven in a row... But now with the chemicals, I think twice just to eat one, it's unfortunate.
Before I didn't like pears, but I now do since I saw the movie "City of Angels"... you know what I'm relating to?

I've never seen that movie all the way through : /

We can get a good amount of organic certified food here where I live, so I always buy that if possible. Publix (supermarket here, not sure where else they have them) usually has really good organic pears here. Peaches are still my favorite. I like grapes a lot too.

Yeah, right off the tree is so much better. When I was living with my brother I walked out back every morning in the summer and picked fresh figs for breakfast. The birds would be out there having their share too. One morning I got stingy and picked a whole bunch and the birds didn't leave any for me for about a week or so! But I learned my lesson, as long as I respected them and let them have their fair share, they would always leave me just enough each day :)

Interesting story Jim! :D

Hello Green!

I think I haven't watched this movie too or I can't recall it right now. Could you tell what you meant? :)
