Ok guys, I know I always keep posting the same stuff, and I want you to know that I love you so much I love your support. Right now I can't think straight, I've been working on the spiritual path real hard, I am trying not to worry about finding a partner now.

But something new came out, I mean its like a joke really. My brand new cellphone store is going down to hell, I mean I'm earning 1000 dlls a month working for my dad right now. Remember that I live in Mexico and that's what salaries are like over here. But I wanted a small business of my own and it hurts that is going out of business.

And honestly guys, I have no idea of what I'm gonna do, how to make more money. I know this is karma but I thought maybe the spiritual work was going to cancel some of it, but I feel hopeless in this moment, although the only thing I have right now, is to believe in improvements of my situation through the spiritual work.

Hope something good will come in the future, now if you suggest ways to cancel karma, I would be very happy. I've tried giving good advice to friends, giving food to the kids with cancer, working on eliminating my egos, and stopped masturbation, but .......still my situation doesn't change....I feel so depress, pray for me. Thanks.

My only advice is to dedicate yourself to the pursuit of Truth, no matter what the circumstances are. Because, when you're pursuing Truth wholeheartedly, as you're doing, then the Divine is on your side. We might not always be in pleasant situations. The unpleasant ones are the ones in which we usually learn the most. I am forever thankful for what I can call the most painful situation of my life thus far, several years ago. At the time, I didn't know anything else, just that it was painful, very painful, so I took it up with prayer, dedication to the moment. If I had run away from all that pain instead of enduring, then I would have lost that divine opportunity to learn. If instead I ran off and got drunk, or did things I knew were wrong, then it would have caused more misery. Instead, looking back, I can see that although at the time it was painful, it was very useful in development.

Much strength in getting through this.

Jim B had a good blog post about suffering. I too have had the opportunity to experience some pretty bad things, and to come away stronger from suffering it.

Basically, on my path, I learned you can't control what happens TO you, but you can make things happen FOR you.

If you don't have kids to support or a spouse to take care of, then maybe look at it as if you're somewhat lucky. Things could always be worse.

I don't really know the nature of your buisness...
Since I'm in the buisness of music I can't really help you out, but know from experience that if you create a buzz or hype up something through advertising, it usually yeilds results.

Buisness will always be buisness but the only things you're taking with you past your grave is your inner work.

"The unpleasant ones are the ones in which we usually learn the most."

Thank you guys, actually my most unpleasant experience so far is what got me to retake the spiritual work, so I guess you are far right.

I think I was just worried about the fact that these things keep happening, so its like I haven't got rid of this karma. I'm gonna try to open a new taco business in the store where my cellphone business failed.

If it works or fails it has to do with my karma, and I will take it as a lesson.

I talked to my parents today, I live with them, and they are quite wealthy , they said if I ever get married they will provide a house for me and probably a better salary, so I mean even though in part I will be sort of supported by my parents, it is still a good thing the fact that God provided such good parents and there's so many people that are in much worst situation than me, so I'm not actually in that bad of a situation.

In terms of Dharma, does the spiritual work provide real Dharma?, or we just worry less about our missfortunes because we have eliminated egos?

Also how would I know if I'm doing enough for myself or mankind?, right now I'm giving money to people asking for it at the red lights, I try to give good advice, I stopped masturbation and am working on eliminating my egos.
I also asked God to rid me of karma and I will do anything he asks for, I haven't received an answer although it wouldn't be weird if that answer comes from a dream or something.

Hi Foxtse,

Dharma: when we give materially we receive materially and when we give spiritually we receive spiritually.

This inner work can be really difficult so we need as much spiritual help as we can get. We can have access to this help by helping others spiritually.

A lot more of this is explained the Gnostic Wisdom Course as others have said.

About your business, it can be tough to deal with unpleasant situations. On the path that leads to freedom we can be put through tests, to see how react in situations. These things happen not because of karma but because of the path. We pass by being serene and learning what reacts within us and eliminating them through the techniques taught in the courses; while gaining real peace and freedom at the same time.

Imagine loosing everything and just having peace and happiness, freedom. Using intuition to know where you should go next to work. This is all very possible when we take up this work seriously.

I hope this helps,

Ruben

The opposite of karma is 'moksha' and i've been told that moksha conquers karma.

In Gnosis the opposite of karma is called "dharma." Yeah it's also said that dharma conquers karma. Except for adultery which has to be paid no matter what.

I think there are different prices, depending on circumstances.

Also there are different definitions of adultery. In "The Flight of the Feathered Serpent," sexual adultery is described as having sexual relations with someone who you don't love completely. Belzebuub describes it as being a mixing of sexual energies within one year from two different people.

Thanks for the info. Actually, I was kind of wondering what prices were in general. The price of any Karma...how do we pay for it and who charges? lol I'm not making a joke, but I saw someone write that Victor Gomez died of stomach cancer to pay karma. Seems kind of harsh to charge a "master" like that. Can't you pay it off by good works, like paying an offense off by community service?
