near death experience while out of body

well im not sure if this is the right place to post this. but anyways, tell me what you think of this:

in late december, i had this astral experience. it started off as a dream. in the dream, i had been shot and died soon after. when my body hit the ground, i gained full awareness like any normal astral experience. but i thought i had actually been shot and didnt realize that what happened was actually part of a dream. my awareness started to fade away. i tried to find a friend and "pull" them into the astral so i could tell them what had happened to me before i lost awareness completely. i thought that once my awareness faded away, that would be the end of my existence. i blacked out but soon regained consciousness in the physical. i cannot put in words how happy i was to find myself in my bed and alive. it was like a near death experience that happened in the astral. it was a pretty wild experience.

Thanks for sharing with it!
I know how it feels to get those experiences and then to wake up in the physical and be so happy that "it was just a dream".

Actually, death in the dreams usually is a good sign, indicating the "internal death" of a negative psychological elements.

One of the things you can possibly try in order to understand the meaning, is to calm your mind with any of the meditation practices and just go with the first thought and feeling about the meaning of that dream; later you can try to do the same thing again, and so on, and compare the results. Which one of the interpretations feels right for you?
