Saturday Night at the Toronto Gnostic Centre

The first of two February Fundraising Nights took place at the Toronto Gnostic Centre this past Saturday. The event was a success - who could turn down dinner, a movie, and a talk :-) Brother Sun, Sister Moon, by Franco Zeffirelli was shown...

A big thank you to everyone who helped out, and also to Stas for taking the pictures.

** February Fundraising Nights - the Spiritual Individual **
Join us for two nights in February, where we will serve a healthy dinner and give a brief talk about films which explore spiritual figures largely rejected by the masses and official religion in their time; yet later on, recognized for their inspiring spiritual lessons and legacy. Open to students of the courses only.
Suggested donation: $20 per night. All funds raised at this event will go towards supporting the international team.

Friday February 22nd. Light dinner to be served at 6:30pm. Movie starts at 7:30pm.

Actually the connection between our Centres seems to be eerily strong lately...

We ran the exact same courses this round, with pretty much the same numbers. And in week 1, Jenny gave the GW course, while I took the Meditation and D&OBEs. Then in week 2, Jenny gave both the Meditation and D&OBEs. So in reading up on the Perth blog, apparently we have a lot in common :-)

In Montreal we will start with "The Gospel of Judas" from Natonal Geographic.

It's amazing to witness how story of Judas slowly becomes to be understood finally.
