I work in London, live in Kent and interested to hear of people with other experiences like mine.

My mum's father passed over to the otherworld over a year ago. Before he passed over he told me that he was being visited by two children. I could not see them but they were in his bedroom with us at the time of my last visit. One was a boy and another was a girl of about 12 years old. At the time I think he said that the girl was wearing a blue dress (the same colour of my grandad's pyjamas) and was facing the wall. Her brother was next to her but facing forward, towards Grandad, in the opposite direction to his sister. I think Grandad said the boy was older than the girl.

I did not doubt that Grandad was being visited by his angels. It was clear to me that he was close to death and he knew it was going to happen very soon. I loved him very much and was not afraid. He was not afraid either but very calm. When I said goodbye, I actually said "see you soon". I knew as soon as I said it that he was going to leave us. I also believe that it was not going to be that last time that we will be together.

He passed away during that night. When mum told me I was both sad and happy. A few days later I was guided to a bookshop and a book on the afterlife. It was his way of telling me that he is still will us. My mum also saw him in her sleep, where he smiled and winked at her. I believe Grandad gave her the knowledge that he still loved her and was with her.

This experience has deepened my faith and knowledge of an afterlife. It is this experience that I intend to build upon. There are guardian angels, I have received information at times of trouble to help me, and have no doubt there is life beyond bodily death.

I am reading books written by Samael Aun Weor and pleased to be on a new journey of spiritual discovery.

Welcome, Christopher. Thanks for sharing that. I have had experiences with the deceased in dreams. So, I am inclined to believe that the astral is a good place to investigate death and other things like that.

That's exciting that you are on a new journey. Which books are you reading, by the way?

Thank for your post, my dad's cousin said she saw his dad (my grandpa) after he died, right before her mother died. He said he came to get her (his sister).

My (other) grandpa also told me he woke up and saw my grandma and asked if she had come to get him, but she just left. I got a litle concerned that he was about to die, but that was a few years ago...

I enjoy the works of Samael and also his articulate writing style. It is important to note that alot of his earlier works were not meant to be read because of mistakes. All the links to his works provided by gnosticweb are "approved" to be read as according to his own instruction.

Hello. I have been reading (or should say dipping in and out of) the following books by Samael: "Introduction to Gnosis", "Revolutionary Psychology","The Great Rebellion", "The Perfect Matrimony" and "Pistis Sophia Unveiled". I have not finished any of them but have started all of them. Every time I read chapters in each book I feel I learn something new about myself.

Really the most important book to me is the "Introduction to Gnosis". I am still trying to adjust to the teachings in lessons 1 and 2. It is very difficult not to get Angry and not to Criticize but I am certain that if I think about these lessons regularly I will adjust.

Yes, I also realize how easy it is to get angry.
Usually I am pretty emotionally calm. When I think there exists none in me anymore and then when I'm poked at with fire, it easy to see how many little annoyances come out and how much work has to be done on them.

To me criticizm is important to be applied to myself in the right way in order to evaluate where I'm at. I do agree with many on just how much of a waste it is to criticize anyone else.

It was easier for me to adjust after I started experiencing things in practice rather than reading about them. If a picture is worth a thousand words then certainly an experience is worth a million pictures (or more!) .
