Perth- About Us

The Perth Gnostic Center was established in early 2006, making it the newest in Australia. Since then it has rapidly grown in prominence, generating a spiritual strength that attracts and inspires many people.

In 2005, a few “perthies” participating in Gnosticweb’s online courses, discovered they both lived in the same city and began meeting up to discuss Gnosis and try spiritual exercises together. A small group formed and gained global attention on Gnosticweb’s forums, and soon after, a teacher from the east coast came over to start a centre and…the rest is history!

Located close to the heart of Perth, the center is easily accessible. A charming hall with polished jarrah floorboards, gentle melodies, beautiful artwork and enchanting incense filling the air – it is an exquisite place of spiritual and mystical power. Those attending enjoy the peaceful ambiance which provides a welcome break from the monotony of everyday life. Outside, a wonderful scented garden has been planted, which now flourishes with perfumed flowers and aromatic shrubs – it is bursting with life and attracts birds, butterflies and people alike. Like the center, it grows more vibrant as the months pass, nurtured with love and devotion. After an inspiring spiritual practice, it’s common for everyone to gather in the garden and appreciate the beauty resounding in natures display.

The Perth Gnostic center is a place for people to come together and gain esoteric knowledge and renewed spiritual strength. There is always a course to attend, covering topics such as the world of dreams, esoteric psychology, Gnosticism, out-of-body experiences, and the mysteries of life, death and love. True knowledge comes through personal experience, and the courses teach the means to acquire this, with lots of practices to try. With this information, the limitless knowledge of the universe can be explored.

After the courses, conversations continue in the café over a warm drink and tasty treat, where friendships are formed in a laid back atmosphere. The Perth Centre is a place where anyone interested in the spiritual side of life can come and learn, share experiences and find answers in a warm and friendly place with people who are likeminded.

We have many plans for developing the centre in the future, and in the short term we are looking at extending our café area in the centre, and renovating the senior practice room. In the new year, different activities will be organized both in the centre, such as movie nights, and busy bees, and outside, like awareness walks, and group outings to inspiring cultural events of esoteric significance.
