Hello I had an unsual dream / lucid dream last night which has left me wondering. I was dreaming normally like I do and then I met a girl with reddish hair and she started talking to me, she said you have been reading that book by Belzebuub, which made me aware. I told her that I hadn't read it for ages, I just went through it a while back and she said that she had read it. She told me I had called for help from a master in this dream and that she calls upon a master often. I cant remember the name of the person she said i had called and i cant remember what her name was either. She said she was in the astral and I knew that i was concious in the astral too, i said to myself am I dreaming. Normally when i ask myself that question I wake up in sleep paralysis with immense vibrations, but this time i said to her help me stay, hold my hand so i dont go, and I stayed, i could feel the sensation i normally get during SP but it went. everything became clearer. We went off and and it started to rain hard and it got a bit scary, I didnt like it and i think this is when I woke up. I went back to sleep again and she was there again! This time this may have been a dream as she told me her name was elizabeth but i didnt sound right compared to the first time she told me her name. then a guy was next to me sitting at a table and he said he was richard. I know I shouldve done tests of pulling my finger etc the second time i went to sleep. anyway, was the whole thing a dream could it have been another astral traveller? I havent even thought about the book for months and not even thought of astral p for ages so it all seemed kind of weird. sorry to go on, any info would help. i keep thinking about this. thanks joanna |

Hi Joanna.
That's an interesting experience. My opinion is that it was a dream until you became aware that you're dreaming, as when you became lucid it counts as a conscious astral experience - it's essentially the same thing.
We can sometimes be helped by Divine Beings, and that's how we can wake up in dreams even if we haven't been practising or trying to be conscious on the astral. Perhaps it is an encouragment for you to work on that once more?
Take care,

In the end the defenition of the experiences had is not that important. What is important is the level of consciousnes you have. In reality in most cases people tend to have a lower level of consciousnes in lucid dreams, since the subconscious has been dominating so much, and it kind of still likes to try and keep a hold on you, making it harder to consciousnes to be activated fully.
This is something which gets easier the more experience had and the more used you get to be in deeper states. Then the conscioiusnes has an easier time waking up more fully and properly when gaining consciousnes in dreams. Which means that the difference between a lucid dream and a proper out of body experience becomes smaller, and they essentially become the same thing (though might differ where you are dimensionally at times). Initially though this is not entirely the case, but it gets there...
Then it can be a good idea to keep in mind that the more consciousnes you have. The more awake you are in the physical dimension, and hence more awake in other dimensions. This means an advanced person (master etc) might be able to be more awake in a lucid dream than an average person is during the average physical day.
It is actually not uncommon that people who are asleep and dreaming... Are in fact interacting and talking with other dreamers and beings in the astral, but without knowing it and realizing that they do. They can in fact even be confusing things... Like they are talking with a perfect stranger and think it is his friend, and having dream scenes making him out to be the friend when he is not.
The person you encountered could be anyone, there is really no way we can know that based on your description. It could be another living person who is consciously out of body and is more advanced than you. It could be another living person who is unconsciously asleep (but not dreaming). It could be a spirit or a guide... could really be many things.
It does not sound likely though that it was objective in first experience and then subconscious in next just because you lacked consciousnes. Rather it is likely same being, and you might have "distorted", what you heard and saw when subconcious, but still likely same being.
