My name is Nathanael, and I am 23 years old. I have been spiritually seeking for the last 5 years after being raised Christian, going through years of leadership college and finally coming to doubt that the Infinite Creator really wanted me to judge my fellow man and tell them how wrong they were for following what they believe in. Aren't we all trying to find the Source? So I got out of the church and became a vagabond for a good couple of years, discussing with anyone who would talk with me, researching at the library and on the internet.

The primary areas of my studies have been Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Taoism, Hinduism, Astrology, Shamanism, Mayan and Inca lore, Mesoamerican, Mesopetamian and Eastern culture and history, etc... I just want to learn everything I can regarding the spirit and organize it well within this feeble physicality. I long every day for departure from this place, but I know that I'm not ready for the Eternal as of yet, that I need to hone myself and conquer my insecurities and weaknesses.

Thanks for having me on, I look forward to classes.

Be well

Hi Nathanael

Welcome to this site.
The emphasis of the courses is learning through direct experience, so you will find a lot to study with the courses. I recommend to take all the courses as they complement each other.
I recommend the optional books too, they contain some more information than the online courses.

What course did you subscribed to?

Good luck.

Hey NK,

Wow, what accomplishments you have at 23 years old. I'm impressed. I think you've come to the right place to learn some more things. Don't long so much for permanent departure yet!!! lol I'm really excited to explore what's outside of this physical life as well. But, I'm not quite ready to leave my physical body permanently. Which class are you going to take first?

I certainly am not ready to leave the physical, I have much more work to do here, both in betterment of myself, and in selflessly conscious service. Just because one feels himself ready for departure, does not make him able to make the journey. : )

I'll be taking the Dreams and Out-of-Body Experiences course first, since it has been the most active part of my psyche as of late, and I'm very interested to hone that area.

Wellness and Light to all of you, thanks for responding!

Hey NK,

Good, that's the course I'm taking too. From what I have gathered so far, there will be so many, many interesting people attending that class - yourself included. I feel I am going to learn so much from all of you. I just hope I can contribute something too and not just be a taker. lol

Excellent. I'm glad to be meeting a couple of those that will be joining me in the Dreams and OOB classes!

Dusty, just your presence will be a contribution. Don't worry about being a taker, service to Self and Spirit is equally important to the Infinite as service to others.

Be well! See you there!

NKWE,

Now if I'm reading you right, you are trying to learn how to Die before you Die (to ensure eternal life) Sufi style, but Gnostic too. If so I think you're on a good path, since that death is of the EGO and what remains is pure spirit, captial "S"elf. or we could just become elfs hahaha.

Quite a good reading of my world view, I like what Sufi teachings I've read. I want to take every blow and suffering I go through in this life and let it wash over me, keeping an attentive eye on each and every moment that goes by. As you say, the death of the Ego, but more like the refining process of the soul, and the Ego rises to the surface, to be skimmed off. Not an easy task, but I'm hoping to glean a lot from these courses.

I like that fitting analogy " skimming off the ego" like excess fat, indeed a dietary resolution to undertake for the new year. where the goal could be to drop 13 archons or as many asap.
