Sydney Gnostic Centre Christmas Party
Last Saturday the Sydney centres teachers and trainees threw a christmas party with some students and some family and friends. In typical Aussie style we of course had a bbq (that's short for barbeque in case you didn't know!)
And what aussie bbq is complete without some sausages, otherwise know in these lands as a "sausage sizzzle".

and what bbq is complete without an expert tong handler to turn the sausages. Here we have Richard showing us his skill with the tongs. And thanks Colm for bringing along your excellent bbq!

You may wonder what that white pole is which seems to be in an inconvenient spot. It was drizzling rain on and off so we have set up an umbrella to keep the bbq dry. Nothing was going to dampen our spirits or put out our fire.
A Christmas wreath

We of course put our new cafe area to good use. Boris raises his glass to us all.

Everyone enjoying the good company and the expert bbq-ing by Richard.

Something seems to have caught everyones attention...

Its the arrival of Cheryl's delicious desserts!

My mum came along too, that's her on my left, it was her birthday! She enjoyed meeting all the gnostics.

and she thought the cafe waiter was pretty good at his job...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone from The Sydney Gnostic Centre!
