Seraphim

Seraphim’s Story

When I was a child I had the chance to experience a few times, what it is to be in the moment. I remember when I experienced this, by observing the nature around me, I was full of happiness. Gradually as the years passed by and I grew up, I lost this magic. But deep inside me it was engraved in my memory.

When I grew up I tried to fill up the lack of this feeling by doing different things such as parties, vacations or even deal with politics. But none of them really interested me because none of them could satisfy my metaphysic worries that I had from being a child. Everything looked strange to me.

When a very good friend of mine the summer of 2005 in Athens, advised me to go and watch some lectures related to astral travel I wasn’t enthusiastic because I had gone through a similar school in the past and had read a lot about out-of-body experiences.

However I accepted. And I was lucky that I did, because it was a revelation for me, the fact of how clearly the subject was presented by the instructor. My enthusiasm was greater when after a few months I experienced vividly an astral projection. This gave me faith that I am on the right path.

During the course of the lectures I learned other techniques related to awareness and how to live in the moment by observing and reducing the negative and unrelated thoughts and feelings that spoil the beauty of each moment. All of this gave me a greater push to know myself deeper and throw away what I didn’t like, because now I had the tools and the use of direct experience in order to achieve it.

My involvement with the Gnostic Movement has allowed me to have the honor of teaching this information to others. I began teaching in Athens, then in Salonica, until moving to Nicosia with my wife in 2007.

All of this has been a great experience. But Gnosis also helped me to be a better teacher at school by knowing better of psychology and correcting my mistakes. So the students could have a better and deeper understanding of the lessons that I teach.

I have realized what a great responsibility teaching is but also how beautiful is to be able to give people the possibility to freely receive all this information that can lead to true self knowledge. At the same time I have gained the ability to know myself better.

The path of self knowledge, even if it is not always easy, is full of interest, full of surprises and turnovers. It gives a meaning to life and to everything that I do and brings a sense of real freedom.
