How I handle negative entities/energies

Thanks for sahring your find dusty. In my experience any prayer is good when it is done at the level where it can be heared.

No matter how good a prayer sounds, if it is not at its full strenght, it won't be answered. And even if it is simple and short, but coming out of total desperation and understanding that by your self you are nothing, then it is heared and answered.

So if I pray for something and remain unanswered, I know that I am not praying sinserely at the level of strong prayer. Strong prayer comes when I realize how lost and wrong I am and how self-centered I have become instead of being centered in God - self-aware and as much as possible self-conscious or conscious of my self.

when i am not using the classic white light, like you i also invoke the Violet Flame to protect myself:

TUBE OF LIGHT

Beloved I AM, presence bright

From Ascended Masters' flame
Call forth now in God's own name.

I am calling forth violet fire
To blaze and transmute all desires
Keeping on in freedom's name

*this works best if you say the prayer in multiple of three visualizing a white tube of light descending from your I AM (higher self) presence. Visualize yourself inside this tube filled with violet flame*

Ah yes, the violet flame and the I am presence. I really enjoyed the first two books of Godfre Ray King in which he describes a meeting with Saint Germain.
One of the other prayers in the first book worked for me. This is it:

I AM a Child of the Light-I love the Light-I serve the Light- I live in the Light- I AM protected, illuminated, supplied, sustained by the Light, and I bless the Light.

Hey guys, been quietly observing the site for a while. I should mention that I have never left my body, but I plan to, and have just begun walking the path that will take me there. Anyway, I notice all of these different mantra's and affirmations that get shared amongst the community, and there is quite a variety. It seems to me that it matters less what you say, and more "the way" that you say it. I am imagining that it would be possible to send NE's on their way without saying anything at all, just with your presence and your energy. Yes, no? Again, I have never been to the Astral so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you know about the course which teaches about travelling out of body and dreams?

In order to deal with negativity in the astral, apparently, it's both, "what" we say and "how" we say it.

There are phrases, called recitations, which can be used to dispell any negativity in the astral.
They seem to work with invoking specific energies from outside and to help focus the ones we already have.

Utilizing recitations, I've found that these specific words have more powerful effect than using whatever comes first to the mind, or some other words, however it can work too sometimes.

I find that it certainly matters, how you say it, how you act, like you said.
Confidence and courage make recitations more powerful. For example, with a lot of faith, and yes, with strong presence and full of energy, you can just start saying recitation...and negative entitiy is already gone.

Yes, I too thought that I had no control over "bad dreams" and "nightmares." Now I know better. It's hard, however, to wake up one's consciousness enough to be able to take control. That's where I'm at.
