I had a very powerful, what I take to be a dream- spititual experience.
I went to bed on a Saturday night ( that bits relevant). ~ I found myself stood at the end of a short line of people.
I was in fear and staring down at my bare feet. I was stood on dry soil and was wearing what felt like some sort
of sack cloth robe. There was someone walking down in front of the line of people talking to each one.
I kept my head down with as feeling of dread. The person arrived in front of me and I raised my head to look at him.
It was a Roman soldier holding a hand spear. He put the point of the spear into the side of my stomach and said
" deny Christ" I was about to say " I cannot deny Christ". I got as far as "I cannot" and he then pushed the spear
through my side. I fell forward into the soil and as I lay dying my blood was flowing into my eyes.
In the morning I was somewhat shaken when I woke up. I went down stairs to make a drink and put the radio on, it was now Sunday morning
The radio presenter said " todays is Pentecost one of the highest dates in the christian calendar and went on
to talk about talking in tongues etc. I can still feel the dread years later.

Hi aspirant

That really sounds like a spiritual experience. Some of the things are in the symbol guide of the book "a course in astral travel and dreams". If you don't understand some of those things, you can ask your divine parents (higher aspects of yourself) to explain these things more clearly in your next dream or conscious astral experience.

Also those experiences are often given only for the dreamer, it can happen that you don't have such experiences for a while if you share them with others.

All the best

Thanks for the info. I have not done any courses yet.
Its sounds like its not a good idea to post in forums if it prevents
further experiences.

Thinking about it I remember listening to a talk by Sogyal Rinpoche,
a buddhist monk. He said much the same thing he said in Tibet we
dont talk about our experiences as you do in the west.

Hi aspirant

Interesting to know that they don't do it in Tibet too.
I made those experiences with sharing on my own before I read in the course about it.
A stranger could not really interpret your dreams anyway as he does not know what is happening in your inside during the day, things that dreams refer to.
With the interpretation of dreams it is also helpfully to try intuitively to get the meaning of them.

Good luck.

There's an underlying occult psychology to our dreams that we can interpret on our own, ONLY providing that we understand oursleves to begin with.

The nature of the situtations or how we feel in them also are there to show us something, not just visual symbols.

Hi Aspirant,

Perhaps that was a dream of a past life memory?! it was really profound either way.

A few months back I had a dream where I was one of Jesus' disciples and we were walking along listening to Him talk. However when I woke up the dream was very vague and I couldn't remember what He said :( I'm sure there was a very big teaching there but unfortunately I missed it.

Strength to everyone!

Amy,

Maybe that was the teaching, that you had missed/forgotten the real teaching. Just a thought :)

Oh I thought it was a teaching, I wasn't inferring that my dream was a past life memory. It was a shame I couldn't remember the teaching though, my intuition gave me the feeling it was very profound.

Yeah, that's what I mean, that maybe part of the teaching is about remembrance itself. To understand any teaching we have to remember a time when we were closer to the Father than we are now. So remembrance is really a very big teaching. All kinds of Masters have instructed Humanity to remember the root of their Being, know thyself, it's all part of remembrance. If it weren't for that remembrance then we wouldn't know that what we want is not what we have, but we remember there is something else, something more real essentially, more pure, more simple, even if we can't put our finger on what it is exactly, we still sense there is something better, something beyond our imagination and ordinary thinking.

Just some thoughts. I've found that trying to remember and figure things out are often times the teaching themselves, because in the process of fighting for clarity then months later I might realize, "Oh I finally get it. If I didn't have that experience, then I never would have done this or that trying to figure it out, and this would have never happened, etc. etc." I think it's all part of how the Masters work from a causal point, where the teaching actually works its way through time to blossom here for us, sometimes even months or years down the line, when there is effort by the student to understand.

Best wishes.
