Ive ben wondering for quiet some time now if it were possible to sever the Silver Cord at will,...becaus i red this book called Astral Projection and the nature of reality from JOHN MAGNUS and he mentions in his Book that a women named Devon in 1992 was a frequent astral traveler,and one day her physical body hade a seizure while her astral body was venturing in the astral plain,...and to this day it is said to be an unexplainable death report,...this wommens friend named Robert Perala was said to have gone in a trance to find out the ware abouts of her death,she contacted some spirits who hade ben around her at the time of her passing away and they told her she was in the habit of leaving her body so much and for a long period of time that her connection to the silver cord wore out.they hapend to mention that spit her persistent attempts to rejoin with her body...she freaked out and tryed for days to get the attention of the living world. |

PersonalIy I don't think that it is possible to cut the silver cord by your own. There are divine beings/angels who do this in the moment of death of the physical body.
Why don't you find out for yourself, getting your own knowledge about it? You could ask your divine parents about it in the astral, or you could ask them to show you about it in your dreams.

Thanks Jonny i realy apriciat it ^_^ ...becaus this has ben bugging me for a while you know and i geus i feel safer knowing you know...but i did ask and they gave me the same answer,he said"you can never ask a question,that you dont already know the answer to",so im still kindof confused.but ill manage

Generally the silvercord is not really something you need to think about. It is generally not visible to neither you nor others, and you will not accidentally get hold of the cord itself.
I can tell you the following story though in case it eases your mind. There was a case when I felt around on my back to see if there was anything. I felt this strange thing which I pulled out. When I pulled it out I realized and noticed it was the "connector" which connects the silvercord to the body. I let go off it and it magnetically attached to my body again, I pulled it out and it magentically attached itself again. Silly thing to do perhaps, but I didn't know it was the silvercord when I first pulled it.
I have not tried cutting it off, but I would be very surprised if it was possible.
There are lots and lots of myths about the astral and out of body experiences around. I have heard many silly ones, such as one have to watch the cord so it is not cut, that one can get lost and not find ones way back to the body etc. All this which is very silly... I've never watched my silver cord, and I have met spirits which thought I was deceased (indicating of course that they cannot see or know about the cord). And I have been lost having no idea where I am, but returning has never been a problem.
Remember that techniqally you are out of body every night, and you have likely encountered quite a number of unpleasant things during subconscious and unconscious states, and still here you are alive and kicking ;)
