Actually, some say that it is easier to do when you are a kid.

Hi David,

Yeah it sure is possible! When my brother and I were kids we had lots of out-of-body experiences. We didn’t do it on purpose though, it just happened by itself when we went to sleep. As we got older they just seemed to stop happening.

What I learned on the Dreams and OBE course is that every time you go to sleep you naturally leave your body (and it doesn't matter how old you are), only most of the time you’re not aware of what is happening because you are dreaming.

The course is really good because it teaches you ways to be aware of having an OBE! Here is the link for the course... http://www.gnosticweb.com/node/9951

Strength to everyone!

It was much more easier for me to have AP experiences as a kid. They happened at least twice a wk at random for me. I also had very vivid dreams.

When my mother and aunt were 8 years old they would sit on the toilet with the light off and start saying "I AM I, I AM I, I AM I" and they would astral project right away in a very clear and conscious form, they never understood why they decided to say those words and why they got OBE in the first place, but they kept doing it for a while out of curiousity. I guess it was the spiritual work from past lifes which we might recover some conciousness of.

Now as an adult my mother never again had OBE and she's not interested in that anymore she even says its wrong.

Hi David,

Anyone who works on their concentration and does the practices without expectations and which much enthusiasm can astral project. When we are concentrated on one thing during the exact moment of sleep, we are able to project into the astral.

Being concentrated on your heart beats or heart for example is a good way to project. It is possible to project by simply staring at a single point on the wall and falling asleep this way. In time you will find out what works best for you.

Hi David, are you lucid in your dreams? Are you aware that you are dreaming?

Best wishes

As a kid I used to be able ot do "awake dreaming" like we seem like I was daydreaming but I was actually accessing other dimensions. In fact I was projecting while my eyes were open and I was awake. There wasnt a barrier between my conscious and unconscious world. In order to survive in reality I learnt as I became older to control this and "fit" in. Lots of kids have plenty of astral type experiences or ones like I describe. Because the subject of dreams is often seen as taboo and not talked about, kids often dont reveal their dream experiences and keep secret about them. Over the years of running dream workshops, I find ther elief amongst kids when they are able to talke to someone about them is overwhelming.

Now I am older I wish I could still access the astral with such ease but alas that facility has gone.

What kidn of experiences have you had?

Best wishes
Jackie

Hi Joseph

That's a very funny analogy but true; if only people knew the value of OBE experiences....

Maybe a million is selling it a bit short ; )
