Transformation Wk10
Sunday's crew.
Pictures of the stain glass on the front door, taken from inside looking out.

Where we ended from last week.

Dave going over the tested sandstone stained areas from last week. The sandstone didn't work out so we reverted back to the original. Dave is putting some clear sealant over the small areas.

Later the same day Colm giving the whole floor a sealant coat.

Picture of the front door after the brass was polished during the week. Can't see it very well in the picture, but still it's a nice front door :-)
Colm doing the second coat.

John getting some colours ready on Sunday morning.

Mark doing fine green touch ups, Colm applying a new green strip on the window ledge.

John scraping away the cement after this foot was added back onto the wall during the week. The scraper is soon to make a discovery!

Ta da!!! Look what I've found. Under the sprayed concrete - original tiles. A new mission begins.

Dave and John start the scraping.

Colm moves onto red, touching up the fixed foot.

Dave trying to get the knack.

Mark able to do the delicate stuff with the right tools.

The tiles are going to look great.

The girls having a break, testing out the new cafe bean bags.

The foreman trying to keep the workers under control (he forgot his hard hat and steel toecap Dr. Marten high lace boots) but even still he managed to wield the power and keep the proletariat under control. [..actually it's just me testing the timer on the camera, but you'd never have guessed.]
TA DA!! A group shot of all the happy prols! We were a few hands short today, but never mind. Getting a timed group shot in was a novelty (it took a bit of effort to herd everyone in and stop working).

Colm just finished the red on the left collumn base. It's looking really good and the collumns now stand out on their own. (PS. don't confuse Colms with Collumns)

The chippies (they're not real carpenters but they are chipping).

John is our real chippy! (Chippy is slang for real carpenters in Aus).
Colm starts the right hand collumn foot.

Found an area on the bottom step where some tiles are missing. John can easily fix this as he is an expert in heritage building renovations.

Colm nearly finished the red foot. It's looking great.

Pati starts painting the white plastic table. By the end of the day this table will morph into a new wooden one.

Wow, look at that. These tiles are going to be great.
The only part with some missing.

Colm starts the new magnolia cream on the window ledge.

Cheryl doing some great concentrated work on the fine touchups are around the doors and windows.

Nice picture of the tiles again - WOW!! can't get over that.

Colm painting the leafs. This was needed due to lack of finesse last week (not mentioning any names). Actually the main reason was the brushes were too wide, but the leafs need a paint regardless.

The INNER TRANSFORMATION NOW BEGINS!!! This is the wall in the kitchen untouched ready for testing.
Testing with the new cream replacing the grey blue existing.

Dave, trying to get the glaring white rain pipe incognito and doing a great job!

Very nice front of house with lovely tiles :-) Not sure if you noticed them before? ;-)

Tony applying a second coat in the kitchen.
Here's the morphed cane table.

David with the best drain pipe I've ever seen.

Sorry to have my back to you all in that last photo! Where are my manners?
Can anyone spot what was repainted a different colour from last week which is not mentioned by Shane?

All the best to you guys!
Well done everyone the place
Well done everyone the place looks great!!! I would have loved to be there and be part of it, but it is nice to see the transformation unfold each week. Unfortunately i won't be able to make the house warming party but i will be there in spirit
One question: how did you
One question: how did you pre-coordinate the paint color with the unknown hidden tiles???
Its a secret.
