Hello everyone! It's time to overcome this obstacle of mine but i still need everyones advice on this. Iam going to write a letter to my mum and tell her about what i have been up to. She is very paranoid right now. What is the best thing to say?. i dont want to get invovle in a fanatical debate with my family again so iam ruling out anything about Masters and about the path. And how can i say that iam going to have a group study/practice every weekend here at my house in the most honest way?. pls. everyones advice is welcome! tc! - tos - |

No need guys!. i know what to say now and do!.
Family is quite a hard obstacle especially when everyone is against you. They dont see the little changes. They demand big changes. =D
But i find friends see more than my family. hmmm...

Like I said to you earlier, if she is worried, I would actually encourage her to watch the Self-Discovery lectures herself and have her learn first hand what it is you are learning.
It may even turn out to be something she uses in her own life :) Good luck!!

Hello!
As i meditate about this situation i find that there is alot of Fear on my side that they will know about Gnosis. And fear on their side the fear of the unknown. Fear of what will people say about my family.
I also see fanaticism playing a role here. Saying that there is only one religion that is true and that can be trusted.
Fanaticism by making a wall around my self and not seeing other piont of views and worries.
Fanaticism is such a sneaky ego.
I also saw Family Prestige is on the line.
I learned last night was that, help or that communication that you want comes from an unlikely source. I have this secret hate since i was a kid to my brother but last night i was given the opportunity to finally kill this hate and understand him more and understand my family more. And i really feel that we are always given an opportunity to fix things one at a time.
There is one more thing that is lacking that i find in my situation. And those are actions.
I find that they need to see changes so that trust can be born. They know about Gnosis they have been probing me. :D But i see this as an advantage by not hiding anymore and its quite easier to be yourself around them.
Overall all Actions is the most important thing i find.
i hope this helps if someone is in a situation like mine about family.
