Does astral projection happen to you this way or you have more success when you do it intentionally? |

Hello LittleHuman,
I like when it happens by itself, such a pleasant surprise!
When I had started my astral practices, I had a lot of excitement and expectations about everything...wow, going to another dimension...and it was an obstacle for me, indeed. Also I was receiving a lot of help at that moment, so yes, I had some astral experiences, when I was not expecting them at all.
But later intention became very important for me, in order to overcome egos of laziness, and to practice sufficiently, and well.
All the best in astral practices for Everyone!

When you project intentionally and have a plan is always best. Nothing is worse then when you gain consciousness and you have a few ideas of what to do, and you lose consciousness while trying to decide.

Hi Mike,
Yes I agree, although so far I have never done it when I was intending to do so. Those were more astral glimpses than experiences. Like opening eyes but still luying on the bed. At first I thought I was really opening my eyes but then I looked a bit down and saw that my clothes are different from those I have in reality. :)
Sometimes when I try intentionally to project durring the night and fall asleep it seems later in the morning that I was awake in bed the whole night although in the morning I don't feel tired. Did this ever happen to you?

I find that if I look back at myself more often then not I end back in my body. Get up and Walk away with a purpose.

Hey LittleHuman,
I've never experienced that specifically, but sometimes if I do a good astral practice when I'm going to sleep my dreams are a lot clearer and I feel almost like they're physical memories when I wake up in the morning.
My first experience was unintentional, but usually I find I have to work towards experiences and build up with different techniques to having them. The OBEs and Dreams course Vadim was talking about tells you really clearly how to do that, it's great!
All the best!
David
