Transformation Wk7 Part I
During the week Mark cemented uneven areas in the garage, getting the concrete ready for staining.

The pergola top beams were painted an off white colour, then the upper half of the building followed suit.
In the pic you can see the new off white versus the old white, althought it looks grey whilst wet in the pics.

Dave Saturday morning blow drying the concrete, so it could be fully set ready for staining.
Dave also did some blow drying earlier on in the week, to get the new table dry for painting. See his blog here:

A scissor electric chair was booked for the weekend so we can finish the top half of the main wall
as it would require a lot of shoulder grease to get this painted with a long pole.

It has been a fantastic
It has been a fantastic effort from everyone involved so far! .
And even though it has been the same faces in the pics :-))........Other People have also been coming in, during the week on their days off from work / study to continue with the progress made from the weekends.
Also a lot of behind the scenes work , like picking colour schemes, general organisation, making the bean bags etc has been done by others.
It has been an intensive couple of weeks working on the external transformation of the garage...but this in turn, has given us all another opprotunity to discover what lies within - as well as work together with unity!
Not to mention the regular
Not to mention the regular centre cleaning that has been attended to attentively by only one or two so the rest could work on the renovations.
And the chefs deserve a round of applause. How lucky we are at the Bondi Centre to have such good cooks.
