You can sleep or take a nap at anytime during the day, right? then you can astral project at any time as well, day or night and in the astral, you will be in the time zone you're traveling to. :)

Hi EternalCloud,
As well as what Kwan Yin said, almost every time I can remember being in the astral it's quite light, even if I have projected at night time. So from my experience our astral bodies are not afraid of light :)
The very first time I projected was about 830am in the morning when it was light outside.
All the best!

i agree with each comment here,
however 'enternalcloud' may be refering to radiation from the physical world,
can sunlight from the physical, some how interfear with energy from the astral aka our soul?

There are tons of statements and theories in regards to the astral, that are just plain "silly". I have heard quite a few before which doesn't seem to make much sense, but never heard this one before though... I see no reason why this one should not be added to that silly-pile as well.
There is no reason you cannot travel around the near-physical part of astral during daytime, some people even preferre doing it during the daytime to avoid the darkness (if they travel near-physical, levels above physical tend to be light most of the time anyways).
