On the bed I listen to holosyncs on the mp3 player to relax alittle.Getting to a state where I can see mental images in motion coming up,like from the distance. Halfway inbetween sleep an awake I'm drivinga car on a bumpy road. So I'm aware of dreaming and the body at the same time. The bumping follows a steady rhythm and I'm noticing mychest follows the same rhythm with the bumpy road. Suddenly thereis this bzzzzz wrroom like sensation. More intense and like a fastwroom wroom wroom pulsing beat.Realizing that the chest chakra was about to go on again I tried to put more effort into making it vibrate faster, but then it gradually stopped instead and I went like nnoooo. mission failed. What did I do wrong?

As you probably know, being relaxed is conducive to most mystical practices. When we try to force a practice to move forward, this is actually an act of tensing up, which then makes us move backwards in the practice...as you experienced.

Patience can sometimes be underestimated.

All the best,

I really agree with Michael words.

Then, during my practices I try to experiment oftenly, for example stop efforts for a while and just go with inertia, try to relax, but it really depends.

Probably a tip to improve any practice is to see it as a process with a different stages in it, so what is right on one stage, is not necessarily right on another.

And, yes, patience is such a great power! I remember, once I was 3 times very close to project and was standing up just a bit before being there...then having to start over again.

Sometimes, initiative and extreme efforts are needed to breakthrough, but sometimes, it is all about waiting patiently and applying just a small subtle efforts, from moment to moment, untill it comes.
