hi everyone, new to the forum and loving it. I have a couple of questions for you all: It was my understanding that conscious projection was made into the physical plane. ie if I astral projected and wanted to sit atop mount fuji as though I a The reason I ask is because everyone here seems to be talking about projecting straight into the astral plane, which I though was only Personally, although both soud amazing, I would truly love to travel my home planet in my astral body. I.e. Sit atop a mountain top and watch the Many thanks for your help guys. Cloud |

Welcome to the forums! It's always nice to see new people on here. I'm really glad to hear that you love it. Yes, astral projection is projecting right onto the astral plane. There are no doorways or anything, at least from what i've seen. You could definitely travel to the himalayas in the astral. In fact, one of the exercises on here is to travel to Mt.Everest to meet up with other students. Although i'm not sure if the courses still do Mt.Everest anymore, they usually change it up. I hope this helps at all!

Hi Cloud,
As I understand it we always go to the astral plane in the 5th dimension when we project as Robert said, but we can still see things which exist here in the 3rd dimension. That's because things here have a counterpart in the astral, the same as we have a physical body and an astral body.
So you can visit places that exist on Earth and see what's there, even though you're in another dimension.
All the best, hope your astral explorations are going well! :)

The way I would personally phrase and explain it, is the following:
It very much depends on where you are located dimensionally. When people say that they are in the physical dimension when out of body, they are referring to being very close to physical dimension and not the physical dimension itself.
You need to be located very close to physical dimension in order to perceive the living and to travel around the physical exactly as it appears here. When you get further away from physical dimension, then things begin to change. You can for instance be on earth, and perceive things very similar to the physical, but are a bit higher up. I cannot really say I understand fully how this works... It is as if it mirros the physical, so it is earth a bit higher up dimensionally. This is somewhat different, since you do not perceive the living, and it does not match the physical dimension in the sense that it can be summer there and winter here, and there can be trees visible there thas has been cut down here.
Then when you move upwards even more, you are no longer on "earth". So the places you perceive are not related to earth, and cannot be found on earth.
I cannot really say exactly how this works. Personally I kind of find it a bit confusing trying to make sense of this "physical copy". Since it is obviously objective, you and someone else (like a spirit you are with) perceive it the same (unless you are clouded by subconscious, then you mess things up ;)
I've heard a theory once that it takes time for physical to manifest higher up here. Which means that you are more likely to find older things, like pyramids and old houses etc, than a new house or a repainting of a house etc. But I cannot really comment on that, since I do not know anything about it...
However I can say what I said above, this is all based on levels and how close you are dimensionally to the physical. It is always in the astral, however there are many levels of the astral. In order to perceive living and physical dimension itself you need to be very close to it... By moving up a few levels you are not perceiving earth at all, but places which are beyond earth. Many deceased people for instance live in places which are not on earth itself, but a bit higher up...
As for what you heard about the doors... doors are simply a (good?) way to move dimensionally. You can create a door some place and expect to end up higher up in the astral for instance, and you create a dimensional shift there.
Same can be done with walls, walk through a wall with intention of shifting to another location and you do (have a clear mind, no intention or seeing through the wall just gets you to end up on the other side).
When people speak of "astral plane" they are often referring to the levels in the astral a bit higher up... You can move up and down in levels by creating reality shifts (such as walking through a door, travel using visualization etc). Not saying it is easy though, personally I am quite bad at it...
I hope someone found this beneficial... and that people take it for what it is... My input and understanding, not trying to convince anyone anything... just my understanding and impression :)

Hi Cloud,
Have you signed up for the OBEs and Dreams course? That has a lot of really amazing information and practices in it so you will be able to have your own astral experiences.
Maybe you can try going to the astral and travelling to the Himalayas and see what happens and what kind of experience you can have?
If you want to travel somewhere in the astral you could ask to be taken there and you might feel a magnetic pull towards the place. Otherwise you could just visualise the place you want to go to if you know what it looks like, similar to what Patrik said. If you do that you can just find yourself in the place you want to be.
All the best with it!
