Transformation - week 6
This week we have battled against rainy weather, which delayed our Centre upgrade schedule.

Nevertheless we persisted and have made progress.
Above: In the foreground our two new trees waiting to be potted in their new home.
Tony painting the final touches on the garage eave, supervised by John.
Colm and me (Shane) focussed on painting the security grills.
This is a time consuming task and quite challenging not to day-dream...
Dave, brushing down and cleaning the wall, ready for painting. Hoping that the rain holds off.

Here is an image of our proposed design template and colour scheme,
which has been scanned from a brochure.

Tony painting the storeroom eave and Colm putting another coat on the window security grill.
The courtyard was painted a fresh green during the week.

Courtyard transformed.

The rain didn't hold off and the wall only just got started. You can see the new brown colour and the old white.
Dave holding the umbrella to keep the rain off the new wet paint, during a 15min downpour.
It is actually raining in this picture, but you can't see the rain drops.
When this is complete it will look fantastic and totally Transformed.
Hopefully it will be complete tomorrow (weather permitting).

Hello stranger :-)
Dave and me only just posted this a few seconds ago and Dave said "Jo and Jason will love seeing this..."
and then almost instantly we saw your comment :-)
Glad you are enjoying the 'Transformation'...
Stay tuned for more ....
Hi Shane, Yes Jason and I
Hi Shane,
Yes Jason and I have been watching the progress. We really enjoy looking at all the photos. It was funny seeing some of the old junk in the garage, things we used to have in our room there, and I had to laugh at seeing the Hot Tuna lamp, thinking of all the times I had tried selling that 'rare collectors item' ;-)
We look forward to paying a visit in the future and seeing the transformation in the flesh!
Jo
