Hey everybody, I had a dream this morning that was so beautiful that it inspired me come back to Gnosticweb and resume the work. I first registered here during early 2004, but I left after deciding that although I really do want to learn all that gnosis, the astral, and dreams have to teach me, my laziness was hindering any form of progress at all. I've always kept this place and gnosis in the back of my mind though, because I knew I would return to it someday. I guess that day is today though, because I want to learn again. I'd love to tell you all my dream, but I remember from taking the astral and dreams course that revealing dreams is a not something you should do very often. The reason I created this topic was for a general sharing of methods, practices, or experiences any one has had that they would like to share. After I had the dream, I wrote down what I could remember of it in a notebook. Unfortunately, I didn't do it immediately afterwards so I probabaly forgot some things. But besides keeping a journal, what advice is there for remembering dreams? Any mantras, routines, or just things you personally do? This dream I had has renewed my passion for these wonderful things, so anything you would like to share, not matter what, please do! |

Hi Alex
It is good to hear that you find your way back to the work.
There is the mantra Raom Gaom for remembering dreams that was taught in one of the early course lessons of the old astral and dreams course.
When you don't move when waking up, you can go back over your dreams and remember them too.
Another thing that i found helpful is to ask the divine parents to help you with your dreams and to teach you something in them before you go to sleep.
I find the third key (sacrifice) mentioned in the gnostic wisdom course is important on this too, i often had changes in dreams when i gave help about gnosis beforehand.
Good luck with your work.

Hi Alex,
Welcome back!
As well as what Jonny said, I've also found the technique of retrospection which is given in the Self-Discovery course to really help dream recall. I think that's because with it you're training your mind to remember.
Also, if I wake up and I can't remember my dreams well it seems that if I start to write them down in my dream diary then that also helps me to remember even more as I'm writing. So don't stop writing down your dreams!
Are you going to do the OBEs and Dreams course again? It's only a few days until the next one!
All the best with everything,
David

hello,
A weekago my dreams got less.
So I checked my situation and so I was wasting too much time with certain familiar egos.
With only fighting this (with awareness) I got clearer dreams.
Time is valueable, don't waste it with fascination.
Basicly almost nothing is worth it, easier said then done.
Writing down my dreams helps me too.
When I am writing down at night sleepdrunk, at that moment usual it means nothing much to me, but at the end of the day when trying to explain it, (if I can read my sleepdrunk handwriting) it can go deep sometimes.
cheers, Peter
