Brisbane Gnostic Center

The Brisbane Gnostic Centre has been in operation since 2002. It was founded by Belzebuub, his wife and two other teachers. Currently it is preserved by a few dedicated volunteers committed to providing support for those interested in the Gnostic teachings and practicing all the various techniques for inner investigation.

All the courses available at Gnosticweb can be taken at the center, where our teachers bring a personalized approach to giving the information, through sharing their own insight and understanding. Apart from the courses, there are regular, popular events running – Brisbane’s Gnostics enjoy getting together to discuss, practice and experience spirituality. Movie nights and group outings to appealing nature spots around the city are always a treat, and especially popular are the practice sessions held at the centre, attended by lots of keen people. The numerous group practices generate spiritual strength which helps everyone to experience the hidden side of life.

The city

Brisbane itself is a modern and diverse subtropical metropolis, Australia’s third largest city and capital of the north eastern state of Queensland. It sits on a river, close to the Pacific Ocean. The Centre is located near the CBD at trendy Paddington, in a cosy, modern office space which includes its own Gnostic café providing copious amounts of Jasmine tea, biscuits and ginger snacks among many other exotic delicacies.

Our purpose

The goal of Gnosis is to transform oneself into a spiritual being, and this is only possible in practical life with the intention of achieving real knowledge – the kind of knowledge which comes from within oneself and which permeates throughout the universe. Our focus is not on theoretical study but rather on living and being in such a way as to encourage such a process.

People from all walks of life come to the Brisbane Gnostic center, and newcomers are always welcome. Coming along, meeting with others and gaining direct mystical experience has allowed many people to gain wonderful, life changing experiences. By attending the center, you can join us for in-depth esoteric exploration into the reality of existence, as we strive to discover our true essence and uncover life’s possibilities. The location

Our centre is located on Given Tce in Paddington (at the traffic lights where Guthrie Tce joins), down the driveway you can see in the picture to the right. Out the front is a sign saying 'Free Meditation Classes.'

Please note that introductory lectures are often held at UQ St Lucia due to numbers. Contact us for any clarifications.
